以下はその内容です。
Description
The parties hereto wish to confirm their intention to promote a Study and Work Program for the winter
games 2010 to prospective students, as discussed below.
Program
ECC will administer an 8-week ESL program. The program will focus on strengthening the grammar of
students, fostering their verbal and communication skills, and expanding their vocabulary. Also through a
private agreement via a third party, students registered in our Study and Work Program for the winter
games 2010 will study for 2 weeks at a University. The program will focus on English for specific
purposes to prepare students for the internship as well as three certifications: Serving it Right, Foodsafe 1and Worldhost.
Schedule
The program offered by ECC will depend upon the students’ English level and availability.
The students may choose to study the program before or after the internship.
The program offered by a University will be offered from January 11 – 22, 2010.
The schedule is TBA.
Actual training for the job will take place during the week of January 25 – 31, 2010.
It will consist of approximately 6 hours of training imparted in one session.
Internship
The internship will take place from February 01 – 28, 2010. Salary will range from CAD$10 – CAD$12
per hour of work. Students can expect to work up to 40 hours per week. A work permit is required. If the
student fails to complete the preparatory portion of the program, is fired or quits his/her work provided
through this program then the student’s registration will be cancelled and ECC will relinquish any and allresponsibility for the student’s stay in Canada. Any previously made payments will not be refunded. No　new job placement will be provided.
